By booking an appointment, accessing our website, or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms may be updated periodically, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of any changes.
2. Services Provided
The Mobile Podiatrist offers mobile podiatry services including general foot care, nail and skin treatments, diabetic foot assessments, minor surgical procedures, orthotic consultations, and related healthcare services delivered to your home, aged care facility, or retirement village.
All services are carried out by a qualified podiatrist in accordance with the standards set by the Podiatrists Board of New Zealand and the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003.
3. Booking and Cancellation Policy
- Appointments must be booked in advance via phone, email, or our website.
- We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a $50 non-refundable fee unless otherwise agreed.
- After-hours or rural appointments may be subject to additional charges, which will be confirmed at the time of booking.
4. Fees and Payment
- All pricing is clearly listed on our Prices page.
- Fees are in NZD and inclusive of GST (if applicable).
- Payment is due on the day of service, by cash, bank transfer, or EFTPOS (if available).
- Failure to make payment may result in referral to a debt recovery service and additional collection charges.
5. Health and Safety
To provide safe and effective care:
- You agree to disclose any relevant medical history or medications before treatment.
- We reserve the right to decline or postpone treatment if health or safety risks are identified.
- We follow strict hygiene and infection control protocols in compliance with NZ health regulations.
6. Use of Website
All content on this website is the intellectual property of The Mobile Podiatrist. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without written permission.
You agree not to use our website for:
- Any unlawful purpose
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Transmitting harmful code or content
7. Limitation of Liability
While we provide professional care to the best of our ability, The Mobile Podiatrist is not liable for:
- Any injury, loss, or damage caused by misuse of advice or treatment
- Delays or cancellations due to events beyond our control (e.g., traffic, illness, emergencies)

Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.
